Write down the details you're looking to codify and track, per site, and give it an owner and a date. Without that, onboarding quickly becomes whatever the seller or EPC happened to hand over.

Be specific. ‘Documents received’ is not a finish line, while ‘Every obligation with a date on it is in the calendar, with an owner’ is.
